As wonderful as this spa break was, it is great to be home. I ended up being the one to drive back to the Bay Area and now legs are feeling crampy. So I got home this morning after almost 24 hours of grueling travel. It doesn't take that long to fly from Jamaica to San Francisco or vice versa, but there were so many delays and a lengthy layover. Well, it is my last full day of this vacation in Jamaica and tomorrow we start the long trek home. I've elected to go ATVing in Chukka today and I'm waiting for the tour operator to pick me up. Looking forward to seeing the countryside perched atop an ATV.

I spent almost the entire day out on a catamaran on a Reggae Vibes cruise which included afternoon swimming and diving from Rick's Cafe, underwater cavern exploration, and a stop at Magaritaville. Greetings from Negril, Jamaica. After almost 16 hours of travel yesterday, I'm finally here. I was so exhausted when I got here that I zonked out almost immediately. Right now I'm waiting for the water skiing instructor to start her lesson and then I'm going to try it for the first time. So excited.

I meant to update earlier, but I had so many last minute things to do. In a few minutes I will be off to San Francisco International Airport and flying off to Jamaica by way of Miami, Florida later in the morning. I'm excited and looking forward to the rest and relaxation and seeing the sights on Montego Bay and Ocho Rios ( Read more... )
